Earlier, we spotted the very first information about Lenovo Phab 2 Pro with built-in Tango system. On the big event Lenovo’s Tech World (lived from San Francisco today), the company officially announced 2 upcoming devices: the Lenovo Phab 2 and Lenovo Phab 2 Plus. Both smartphones feature a huge 6.4 inch display along with very compelling specs and appealing money (which means affordable, yes).

Lenovo Phab 2 is a 3GB RAM beast with a huge IPS display, of720p resolution. Under the hood is a quad-core MediaTek 8735 chip set. Together with 32GB internal storage, there is a microSD card slot to further expand. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus shares the same RAM capacity but a slightly stronger chip set: Mediatek 8783. The beast also offers 32GB ROM which can be expandable.

Talking about photography, the base version Lenovo Phab 2 has a 13MP camera module on the back and allegedly 8MP for selfie shooter. Its sibling, on the other hand, has a significant upgrade of the camera. That being said, Lenovo Phab 2 Plus camera will support a dual lens with laser autofocus sensor. After capturing, users can also use their built-in app to change backgrounds or refocus the shots.

A composition is also an important tip. There’re certain ways to arrange the composition. And you can follow the “Rule of thirds” to have a good one. According to this rule, your eyes is normally attracted to a picture divided into thirds, where the main subject is not at the center (it’s slightly off-center). Most smartphone cameras allow you to use a grid of 2 verticals and 2 horizontal lines. So when you take a shot, remember to adjust the subject to be one of the 4 intersections of these lines.

The next thing of our smartphone photography tips is the digital zoom. If you take photos from a distance, please do not use the zoom feature. Digital zoom can decrease your photos qualities and destroy them. So try to come close to the object you want to capture. And don’t use digital zoom, unless your camera has an optical zoom like Zenfone Zoom, Galaxy K Zoom…

As for the memory, Lenovo Moto Modz supports 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM (expandable). This phone is fueled by a 3500mAh battery, which guarantees up to 40 hours standby.

So overall Lenovo Moto Modz specs are quite impressive. But the main reason why this device has drawn lots of attention is the OS. According to some photos and information revealed on Weibo lately, this brand is developing an OS that is built from both Windows and Android (or maybe they’ve developed it ALREADY). What makes people curious is that the phone in the photos looks exactly like the leaked Lenovo Moto Modz. So it’s possible that the new OS will be featured in this handset!

However, Microsoft has very strong connection with Facebook and Twitter, but these two social networks are blocked in China. Hence, if Lenovo decides to feature Windows in Lenovo Moto Modz, the brand must have made some special deals with the government. And this makes it even more mysterious!

Samsung Galaxy S7 price is set at $612, while Sony Xperia X price comes at $653. So between  Sony Xperia X vs Samsung Galaxy S7, I will definitely pick Samsung Galaxy S7, because I care much more about the performance and price. However, if you love photography, you can pay $41 more for Sony Xperia X.

OnePlus 3 is gonna be available only in the Loop VR handset in the first 2 hours of the event.

In this event, there might be 4GB RAM version first. In addition to OnePlus 3 specs, the phone will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display.
