Thus far, we have read about not one, but several rumors of possible renders for Nokia smartphones 2016. Tech forums everywhere are even predicting at least 3 models will be produced this year. And this freshly discovered smartphone shots are believed to be the testing machine for one of those 3. Let’s take a closer look at those pictures and have the judging for yourself whether it qualified to pass mass production or would Nokia need to adjust more to satisfy our long expectation

At first sight, you can see the leaked image of this new Nokia smartphone (black one) has a full metal body with rounded corner and a handy-sized display. There is a small slot on the side of the machine, allegedly used for SIM and MicroSD card. Around this area, there are small black lines running along. And tech lovers are guessing these are either for decoration or waterproof function (we are absolutely go for the second hypothesis, which would be much more useful)

Basing only on visual impression, we are predicting this Nokia smartphone will feature a 5.0 – 5.5 inch display and run on a combination of Android and Nokia WP. If you observe closely, you can also see that there is no sign of Windows phone OS on the handset. LG V10 has an impressive appearance with a dual camera and a dual screen on the front, a stainless steel outer rim, and polycarbonate back with a rugged and sporty finish. Meanwhile, the official Huawei P9 design has not been shown fully. However, according to a Chinese website, the P9 will look different from its predecessor Huawei P8 with a thinner body, a dual rear camera, rounded corners and a physical home screen button including a fingerprint in. In general, both of them are premium for sure.

Spec-wise, let’s see what they have in common. LG V10 specs andVSht?! For other specifications, there are a lot of differences we need to note. Firstly, LG V10 display measures 5.7 inches, absolutely larger than the Huawei P9’s 5.2-inch screen. Very recently, we have spotted on GFXBench 2 model IDs of the new Zenfone 3 smartphone by Asus, said to target at the budget category: Z010DD and Z012D are allegedly the first 2 variants of their new generation Zenfone. While the Z012D model will still feature 5.5 inch FHD display like their predecessor, seems like Asus is giving the Z010DD a bigger screen of up to 5.9 inch but a bit lower with HD resolution. Both smartphones are expected to cost no more than USD 250 (PHP 12K and Rs 16,8K).

Specs-wise, let’s talk about the bigger machine first. Asus Zenfone 3 specs, for the Z010DD model, will pack a 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and Snapdragon 615. The smartphone will have 13MP/5MP camera duo and run on Android 6.0 at release. Asus Zenfone 3 specs, for the 5.5 inch Zo12D model will feature 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and a Snapdragon 650 processor. There is no information thus far about this camera but we will also have Android 6.0 pre installed.

Reading up to now, I guess you are also wondering why there is no appearance of any Intel chip set like Asus used to choose for their Zenfone 2 series. Although this is not finalized yet, this could be a new strategy in their business plan. Recently, much news as well as leaks related to this handset has been spread on the internet, but they seem to only be about one Huawei P9. The latest one hints that the P9 does have a sibling or even some to get launched together.

If last week brought us Huawei P9’s Antutu benchmark score, this time, we learn that the phone will debut with multiple variants. As what they did to Huawei P8, the P9 series will contain a more affordable maybe named Huawei P9 Lite, a bigger phablet called Huawei P9 Max, and the last one is said to be “a beefed up variant” of the original Huaweo P9, or in other words, it will be equipped with many premium features.

And out interest also goes to this fourth model. According to some sources, it will offer a screen size lying between the P9’s 5.2-inch display and the P9 Max’s 6.2-inch one with the same Quad HD resolution. Moreover, it is likely to feature a more enhanced camera, say, like a dual lens plus a dual 12 MP sensor.

Huawei P9 price and availability

It is believed that Huawei will arrive at MWC 2016 and introduce these devices there to show not only consumers but also many other giant competitors how great their flagship is. So, just a few more weeks to go and we’ll know everything about Huawei P9 and its interesting variants. As for the price, we predict it will range from $700 to $800. What do you think?
