Oukitel U9 design revealed: 5.5″ FHD, MediaTek MT6753 chip and 16MP camera
Oukitel U8 was introduced to the market not long before and now we are hearing rumors about Oukitel U9! It seems like the company wants to join the battle of best performance smartphones of 2015. Recently, the Oukitel U9 specs and design have been revealed, showing some interesting things about this upcoming device.
New Oukitel U9
As for the display, Oukitel U9 will sport a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p IPS screen, packing in a body measuring 153.4 x 73.4 x 7.1 mm. In terms of processor, MediaTek MT6753 will be in charge of powering the whole machine.
Besides, there are 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage built in the handset and the operating system will be Android 5.1 Lollipop. Though, Oukitel U9 battery is not really as large as other phones’, 2,600mAh to be specific, which can be a disadvantage when U9 competes with other flagships.
Oukitel U9 phablet has a quite impressive camera combo. The front surface contains a 8 mega-pixel fixed-focus snapper, which is an ideal choice for selfie lovers. On the back, there is a cam capable of 16 mega-pixels. However, according to its official page, U9 will feature a Sony IMX214 sensor, so it should be a 13 mega-pixel sensor. In case of 16MP, it has to use some other sensor, not the IMX214. But, which one would you like, 16MP or 13MP?
In conclusion, we are looking forward to seeing whether Oukitel U9 will release something special at its launch, which is predicted to happen in the next weeks. Then, we will also know the Oukitel U9 Price in PH, which is expected to be affordable. Let’s save the best for the last!
RAM smartphone – How does it affect your phone performance?
We have talked and talked and talked about smartphones with 4GB RAM. But do you think you really know about a RAM smartphone and how it really infuence your device in terms of performance?
RAM stands for Random Access Memory, which supports the writing and reading data process. Along with the processor and GPU, RAM is also the smartphone’s critical feature. It plays an important role in your phones performance. The smartphones could lag intensively without RAM and even the basic performance can challenge user’s patience.
In short, RAM is a connection between CPU and the file system. The critical files ranging from application data, game files to OS files are stored in RAM for the easy accessibility.
RAM Smartphone & Its Size
Presently, the terms DRAM (Dynamic RAM) is being used to talk about smartphones. The improvement of being dynamic is that the storage can be refreshed to handle the smartphones’ performance . The downloaded Apps are remained in the RAM and they will be readily available for the next usage. Therefore, RAM size does have a significant impact, the larger capacity of the RAM, the more info that can be stored and approached by the system.
Does RAM affect Phone’s Speed & Battery ?
Speed is another concerned feature of phones’ performance. To help run the apps, the clock speed running of house RAM should be between 300-500 Mhz. More RAM means that more apps will lie in it, but that is not the matter for your battery. However, your phone will consumes more power because of some performance boost.
Future RAM Smartphone Potential
Currently, it is rare to see 3GB RAM smartphone, except some high end smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 . However, we will reach more phones with 4GB and higher RAM in the new futrure with the arrival of 64 chipsets.
In short, bigger RAM smartphone will help to boost performance. However, the adequate size for most trending apps in present time is considered as 2GB. We are waiting for the future Android versions with the effective resource similar to Windows Phone and iOS.
Blackberry Venice “Slider” to pack QHD display and run Android Lollipop?
Recent rumors are suggesting that Blackberry is going to launch a new device soon, hopefully this November 2015. The new flagship is a “slider” that Blackberry introduced earlier in MWC. For now, it seems that, the device will be named as Blackberry Venice, featuring a curved Quad HD display. If nothing changes, AT&T will be one of the official carriers to distribute the Blackberry Venice.
BlackBerry Venice: what we know up to now
Also according to reports we have been collecting, the BlackBerry Venice will come with 5.4” screen and a resolution of 1440 x 2560. The handset features curved edges that look somewhat similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
In terms of BlackBerry Venice specs, it has a nice combo of 64 bit, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 808 SoC built-in and a powerful hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU that promises very smooth and fast performances for the phone. BlackBerry Venice cameras are not super exciting compared to cameraphones these days, but imressive enough with 18MP and 5MP front shooter.
Blackberry Venice: new slider phone
When not slide out, there is only the touch screen display. But the signature keyboard like in other Blackberry smartphones will show up when you slide it out. So it is quite interesting for those who love a smartphone with both touch screen and a physical key board.
BlackBerry Venice to pack Android OS?
Previous BlackBerry smartphones are known for running their own BlackBerry OS and being a very secure company which tend to choose the safe way of business. However, lately, BlackBerry had some interesting new changes, starting with the beautiful Wraparound concept, and now the rumors to compete in Android smartphone market.
People are being curious about it coming to the Android smartphone market. BlackBerry has not confirmed about this piece of information yet.
However, John Chen, the company’s CEO did reveal that “BlackBerry would launch an Android smartphone if it could make it secure enough.” In other words, it is still a mystery whether the Blackberry Venice will be an Android smartphone or not, but we can totally expect the appearance of it soon in the future, especially when smartphones are developing so fast these days.

Take a look at the BlackBerry Venice renders we have collected, and share with us your idea about what you’re seeing.

Huge 4,300mAH Mlais MX Base will cost only $100 for one month
The Chinese smartphone market always boosts really intense competitions with better and better phones being produced under very affordable (we mean cheap) price tag. We have seen a lot of Chinese devices with bezel-less designs, with 4GB RAM, with high quality selfie shooters. Today, another flagship packing huge battery has been offered a price cut from $139.99 to only $99.99: the Mlais MX Base. This means the Mlais MX Base price in PH is slightly 4,500 pesos.
Mlais MX Base – largest battery among Mlais smartphones
The Mlais MX Base comes with the largest battery capacity among the present Mlais smartphones. Although 4,300 mAH is not an unprecedented battery, it is obviously huger than many others in the same price range and even more expensive.
Mlais MX Base price was supposed to be $140, which is equivalent to PHP 6,309. That’s also the reason why the device packs quite favorable specs. The phone is backed by strong 64bit, Mediatek MT6735 chipset together with 2GB RAM and 4G LTE connectivity to support smooth performance. Other Mlais MX Base specs are Android 5.1, 8mp main camera and 4,300 mAH battery.
Also check out this Mlais M7 which scored over 48,000 on Antutu
Ok so 4,300 mAH has been the Mlais MX Base’s selling point so far. With such capacity, you can expect at lest 2 days of power for this 5” device. One more special thing is that, with USB OTG support, you can also use the phone’s battery to charge other device. Interesting, isn’t it?

What do you think about Mlais reducing price on this device to get more items sold? Perhaps it is a wise decision because with the new price tag, the Mlais MX Base can be fitted into the PHP sub 5K market, which is very popular among customers nowadays.
