Last year, the Chinese brand introduced the Xiaomi 13 series to China market. Notably, this lineup was among the first smartphones to feature the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. In February 2023, they officially released the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro to the global market. According to our sources, this lineup is getting a new brother soon under the name Xiaomi 13 Ultra. 

So far, this Xiaomi flagship has been making rounds all over the internet, showing off some of its key specs. Firstly, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is going to take power from the same processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC. On the other hand, it should sport a large display of 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO with 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. Regarding the design, we can spot some flat edges on the side of the phone.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra camera is reportedly getting an upgrade. There should be a new quad sensor setup on the back, with one being a 50MP lens (1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor). The other three are a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens plus dual 50MP telephoto cameras. On the front, we should expect to see a single 32MP shooter. For the optics, Xiaomi is partnering with Leica branding this time. Regarding the battery, it offers a 4900mAh capacity with 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi phone comes in 12/16GB RAM and 256/512GB ROM (expandable to 1TB). Lastly, the new device should run on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin.
