Antutu -a Chinese app used to benchmark phones and devices- has just posted a list of 10 best performance smartphones for May 2016. And the result can surprise you. It packs a hefty 6GB of RAM and a 128GB of non-expandable ROM. For the photography, there is a 16MP rear cam paired coupled with an 8MP selfie shooter on this device. Meanwhile, Galaxy S7 Edge- come in the 5th position, right after Xiaomi Mi 5 in the 4th place. If you notice, you will see that the first 5 smartphones all have one thing in common: Snapdragon 820 processor. You might wonder where is the Apple phone. Then here they are, in the 6th and 7th spot with iPhone 6S and SE. In the 8th position is LG G5. After G5 is two last spot with critical dropping points occupied by Meizu Pro 6 and Honor V8 respectively.

Best performance smartphones: iPhone & Samsung are still in the game

As you can see that two third of the smartphones on this list are the Chinese smartphone with 4 of them keeping the top spots. It seems like that the Chinese smartphone producers are bringing their A games to this market. And even though these powerful and affordable “made in China” phones are superior, the iPhone and Galaxy flagships still have their certain positions.
