BlackBerry has finally launched their latest devices with the name BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X today. Notably, one of them offers great hardware of 6GB RAM and dual 13MP cameras. Read on to discover more!

BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X specs

This August, BlackBerry has teamed up with Optiemus to release the new Evolve series including BlackBerry Evolve and BlackBerry Evolve X. Both BlackBerry Evolve specs and Evolve X specs offer a 5.99-inch IPS LCD of Full HD resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Thus, there is no longer a physical QWERTY keyboard found on the last Key 2. Also, these twos carry fingerprint sensors on the back, not on the bottom any more. The face unlock feature is also on the board. Both run on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Under the hood, the Evolve X runs on Snapdragon 660 processor with octa-core CPU. Also, the Evolve X phone comes with a 6GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 256GB). In the meantime, its sibling BlackBerry Evolve takes power from a more modest Snapdragon 450 along with the smaller 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable). However, the BlackBerry compensates for the less powerful chipset by an efficient 14nm process which provides excellent battery life.

Imaging-wise, the BlackBerry Evolve X camera system boasts a horizontal dual 12 MP + 13 MP rear sensors, alongside a dual-tone, LED flash. Also, there is another flash, in company with the 16 MP front-facing shooter. Meanwhile, the BlackBerry Evolve camera setup houses a dual 13MP + 13MP with HDR support. The selfie lens flaunts 16MP with LED flash on the side. Furthermore, the Evolve line bears the similar 400mAh battery, charge via USB-C and suitable for wireless charging.

BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X release date and price

The BlackBerry Evolve X release date might be at the end of August at Amazon India. Besides, the BlackBerry Evolve release date is in the middle of September 2018.
