BlackBerry Key2 LE appeared online

According to our sources, it has been nearly two months since TCL announced the BlackBerry KEY². Last week, new info revealed that there might be a second BlackBerry phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard launching this year too. Besides, Evan Blass shared that there is a device which goes by the codename BlackBerry Luna with the same form factor as the BlackBerry KEY².

In his tweet, the device is also known as the “KEY² Lite”, but it isn’t the official name. Yesterday, he mentioned that an upcoming phone with model number BBE100-5 (BlackBerry KEY² LE according to FCC). Besides, the image shows off the red accent lining the sides of the black, dot-patterned back. Moreover, BlackBerry Key2 LE specs come with a Snapdragon 660 processor like the KEY² and 4GB of RAM, instead of 6GB of RAM.

Though storage is unknown at the moment, there is a high chance it will have a 64GB ROM. On the other hand, the memory is expandable up to 256GB, and the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Besides, the screen remains the same with a 4.5-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 1620 pixels). How about the photography? According to our sources, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE camera system equips a dual 12MP rear sensor and an 8MP selfie snapper. Otherwise, the handset rock a non-removable Li-Ion 3300mAh juice box.
