CS: GO griefers can be permanently banned!

In games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO), griefers are usually presented. They harassed other people, and often bring about discomfort. Now, CS: GO will be very strict in this regard. Beware, CS: GO griefers!

CS: GO griefers can be permanently banned!

Actually, Valve has a system to watch out for bad behaviors of gamers already. A few years ago, a system called Overwatch was rolled out by Valve with the goal to reduce the number of bad behaviors by players. No, that is not the game from Blizzard, one of the best shooter games. Valve’s Overwatch system will give select players the ability to rewatch replays of reported foul behaviors, and then appropriate punishment will be given. There will be a time period for those who bad-mouthed, while those who cheated will be removed completely (GTA Online is now also very strict with cheaters).

However, the newest update of the game has changed the policy in quite a significant way. The update includes some glitch and bug fixes as usual, along with  happy Halloween wish. The important note is that now, if a player is reported as a griefer after a previous conviction, that player will be permanently banned. In other words, repeated offender will be removed immediately. This is a very drastic course of action to deal with CS: GO griefers!

Of course, some players may deem this harsh, as instead of a cooldown period, they got a permaban straight away. However, many players also voiced their agreement to this new change of policy. The only potential trouble is that, some players may face with real hassle if they are caught as a false positive. The new policy stated that, cooldowns and bans are non-negotiable and Steam support will not be able to do anything about it. So, be careful from now on, players!

CS: GO griefers expectd to tone down now!

With such strong action, CS: GO has made a very clear statement on their attempt to make the playing environment enjoyable. Of course, there may be some other problems down the road, but hopefully, this will help make the game more enjoyable for most players!
