Dishonored, a stealth game for those who hate stealth!

Let’s be honest, probably not many people are good at stealth games. We can see this clearly in Splinter Cells or Hitman series, where having to finish each stealth mission takes extreme patience, meticulous planning, and a lot of luck. Most of the time, you would fail the mission, having to start again, or you just give up and kill everyone in your path. Actually, you can do it with Dishonored too, but the game itself does not actually punish you for failing at stealth. Or, in other words, it felt much natural to fail and try to fix it in this game more than others.

The levels vary a lot, some small and cramping, while some are large and complex. What’s more, for each mission, you can choose however you want to do it. Of course, if you fail, you will have to deal with the consequences. However, it does not end there, you can try to find ways to quickly fix your mistakes and vanish into the shadow again. The settings feel so natural that sometimes t’s hard to even know that you’ve accomplished the mission, or even identify the target!

It is that aspect of the game that makes it kind of unique, compared to other games. The key to quickly pass the mission as stealthily as possible actually depends on he vials management to blink around the map as often as possible, to try and clear the level. To be stealthy does not mean that it has to be slow. Overall, the game actually allows you to fail, but give you the option to fix whatever you have done wrong.

Looking forward to Dishonored 2!
