Recently, Nintendo has held a press conference in Japan. There, the Japanese company has revealed more information regarding the new Nintendo Switch. Previously, when the Nintendo Switch was announced, it got massive attention from gamers, because of the hype. Nintendo announced that the new device will bring a whole new experience of gaming to another level. Let’s see what has been revealed from the recent events!

The new Nintendo Switch will have its own screen at 6.2″, with 720p resolution (HD). If you connect to a TV via HDMI, you can get 1080p@60fps. There is a USB-C port for charging, as well as a dock with other popular ports (USB 3.0, HDMI, etc.). The battery life of the device, as Nintendo announced, is 2.5 to 6.5 hours, depending on the game. There will be two Joy-Con gamepads, which are detachable, and can be used to play singleplayer or multiplayer. They can also recognize hand movements of users thanks to the Gyroscope and Accelerometer.

As for the game department, players can rest assured, as there will be 50 games developers working with Nintendo, and 80 games are in development. Some notable games are Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 3 new Dragon Quest games, Skyrim, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, etc. Another good aspect is that there will be no “region lock”, which means no discrimination for Japanese and American games. This is truly great news for players.
