Four Nokia 5 variants with Android Oreo passed FCC ahead of US launch!

For now, HMD Global is in the process of introducing its refreshed portfolio of devices in the US market. Notably, their new handsets include the Nokia 3.1, the Nokia 2.1 and most recently the Nokia 5.1. Previously, the latest version of Nokia 3.1 finally arrived through Amazon US just a couple days ago. As a result, we can believe this is a sign of impending release. After the new Nokia 3, it seems like the next Nokia phone to hit the market this summer is the Nokia 5 series.

Moreover, a total of four Nokia 5 variants have cleared the FCC. In details, the four variants are – TA-1088,TA-1081,TA-1075 and TA-1061. Moreover, the first two handsets are going to be the dual-SIM versions. Meanwhile, the last two are single SIM ones which support NFC. Regarding the internal hardware, the four Nokia 5 variants sport similar setup. In details, The Nokia 5.1 comes with a modern 18:9 aspect ratio as opposed to the thick bezels on the Nokia 5.

On another note, Nokia 5.1 specs sport a 5.5-inch 2,160 x 1,080 IPS LCD full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, the Nokia handset takes power from the MediaTek Helio P18 octa-core processor. Between the four, the entry-level devices have at least 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The high-end variant comes with 3GB Of RAM and 32GB of storage. Under the hood, Nokia handset features MediaTek Helio P18 chipset at the core. Notably, Nokia 5.1 camera has a new 16MP lens on its back with Phase detection AF and a dual-tone flash. The selfie camera has an 8MP sensor and an 84.6° lens. Also, there is a 2970mAh energy box, Android Oreo 8.0, 3.5mm audio jack, expected Wi-Fi and Bluetooth goodies.
