Ghost Recon Wildlands open beta now begins!

Ghost Recon Wildlands is one of the big games that is slated for a 2017 launch. It has been in closed beta for a while, and now the open beta is finally here, along with something extra! Let’s have a look!

Ghost Recon Wildlands open beta now begins!

Ghost Recon Wildlands, in a surprising move, has now allowed people access to the open beta, one day earlier than the intended date of February 23. There is also an accompanying minigame which you can play as well. The beta is now available for download from PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam. Also, if you prefer, you can try out an interactive map-based minigame right from the comfort of your browser. This minigame is released at the same time as the beta.

The minigame is named “A World With No Heroes”, and will allow you to explore Wildlands’ Bolivian setting, with the help of 50 cameras. A lot of cameras will have you trying to track and identify targets, and you can earn rewards for the full game by doing so. The bonuses include unique emblems, XP boosts, and many more. You can try the game for yourself here.

Back to the main game, Ghost Recon Wildlands’ open beta starts today and will end four days later. It will include two out of 21 territories in the main game, Itacua and Montuyoc. People who have tried out the closed beta or this open beta will receive access to the “Unidad Conspiracy”, which includes three exclusive missions that will be available with the full game. However, you need to buy the retail version and play it before March 31 with the same Ubisoft account as the beta to get those missions.
