Honor 8, which was released earlier in July 2016, is one of the latest flagships from Huawei. Generally, this phone comes with a strong processor and an impressive dual camera on the back. After launching in its home-country, Honor 8 is now coming to the global market. In this October, the Honor 8 is arriving in India market. That being said, Honor 8 India variant is expected to sport several enhanced features.

First, let’s look back to Honor 8 specs when it was launched in China. Huawei Honor 8 comes with a 5.2 inch display with full HD resolution. At present, the phone is working on an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor, which is comparable to SnapDragon 810. Besides, it comes with 4GB of RAM and two internal storage options, including 32 and 64GB (expandable to 256GB ). The phone is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with EMUI 4.1 interface on top. One of the highlighted features of the Honor 8 is the dual-12MP camera, which allows for high-quality photos. On the rear, you also find a fingerprint scanner.

As mentioned, it has been reported that Huawei added some news features to Honor 8 India. It could support a dual-SIM via hybrid tray. Besides, sources are suggesting that this version will be sporting a bigger screen (as of 5.5 – inch) and an additional ROM option – up tp 128GB pre-expandable.

Honor 8 India price and availability

Honor will hold an event in India on 12th October. Through this event, the company plans to launch Honor 8 smartphone. That means there is only a week until we officially see this phone in India. Until now, there is no word on Huawei Honor 8 price for India variant yet. However, considering the price of the Chinese variant, the price of this phone is expected to be under $350. (Rs. 23,278).
