After launching the Magic V Flip, it has been a while since the last time we got an update from Honor for its next foldable device. Today, our sources finally brought us some news on this flagship. Firstly, the next foldable smartphone of Honor carries the name Honor Magic V Flip 2. Regarding the design, we should expect to see the same large cover screen as its predecessor. On the front, we still spot the same single camera lens. Meanwhile, the new Honor phone carries a dual-sensor on the back panel, one of which is a 50MP lens.
Under the hood, many reports hint at a “sub-flagship” Snapdragon 8-series chipset, which could be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Moreover, the battery box in this device is a great 5500mAh. With this capacity, the Honor phone surpasses the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s battery box. Additionally, the device also supports faster 80W wired charging. In terms of the display, Honor Magic V Flip 2 packs a 6.8-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED folding screen. When it folds, the cover screen is another 4-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED.
The new Honor Magic V Flip 2 offers different storage options: 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB ROM (no card slot). The Honor device ships with MagicOS 9.0, which is Honor’s custom user interface based on the Android 15 operating system. The Honor Magic V Flip 2 camera sports dual 50MP + 12MP sensors. At the front, it should have a 50MP selfie lens. For the color, we expect to see four options: Moon Shadow White, Titanium Sky Gray, Dawn Purple, and Dream Blue.
