HTC Bolt is now official and available in the market. Coming with 3GB RAM, 16MP cam, and waterproof feature, Bolt is expected to make a big hit in the market.

After many a long time, HTC Bolt is now official. This phone is one of the most interesting devices of this Taiwanese company. It has HTC 10 look and comes with some cool features of the flagship iPhone 7 Plus this year. To promote the phone, the company even compared this handset to a famous athlete- Usain Bolt. So, let’s have a look at this phone to see how great it is!

Design-wise, the phone comes with a familiar look which we can see on the flagship HTC 10. However, like iPhone 7 (Plus), it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Instead of that, you will listen to the music through a USB Type-C port by BoomSound Adaptive Audio headphones with Hi-Res audio 24-bit. HTC Bolt is also equipped with the waterproof feature – IP57 which is better than Google Pixel XL with IP53. On the front, there is a fingerprint scanner which can unlock your screen in just 0.2 seconds.

In terms of  HTC Bolt specs, the phone is powered by a 2.0Ghz octa-core SND 810 processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It packs 3GB RAM paired with 32GB of expandable inbuilt storage. For photography, you can user an 8MP selfie snapper and a 16MP main camera with f/2.0, PDAF, OIS, dual LED flash, and 4K video recording. This new handset owns a 5.5-inch Quad HD display coated with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.  Bolt is backed up with a 3200mAh battery supported with Quick Charge 2.0.

Coming with 3GB RAM and 16MP main camera, Bolt from HTC will be the tough rival in the market, especially in the 3GB RAM segment. The phone will come with 2 colors: Glacial Silver and Graphite. This handset is now just available in the US- exclusive in Sprint. However, according to some sources, this device will come to the other markets with a different name. HTC Bolt price is quoted at about $599.
