HTC ONE E9 (HTC A55): 5.5″, 64-Bit Octa-Core CPU, 3GB RAM, 20.7MP and first QHD display

The HTC A55 came with us as a mid-end “Desire” HTC smartphone but packing to many high-end specs in the device. After that, we saw its specs surfaced in reliable @upleaks and some first pics in official Ubuntu Account on Weibo also. Well, now, good news for us thanks to TENAA well. Therefore, the phone got through TENAA’s certification in China, meaning its appearance will come soon.

If you find difficult to get in your hand the luxury HTC One M9, you can see that the HTC One E9 is a great option which similar identical specs but much cheaper and larger 5.5″ display.

While previous leaks are probably not unreliable, we now have official specs of its phone thanks to TENAA.  According to the source, the E9 reports a 5.5″ 2K QHD display with 2560 × 1440 resolution. Due to 2K QHD display, the E9 apparently be the first QHD HTC to date. The E9 will comes with Mediatek’s new very strong Flagship MT6795 64BIT Octacore CPU, instead of Snapdragon 810 and clocked at 2GHZ as well as along with 3GB of RAM. The HTC ONE E9 has 32GB of internal memory which can be expandable up to 128GB of on-board storage via micro sd.

For camera, the E9 seemingly reportedly support the same massive 20.7 MP Sensor main camera as the premium HTC One M9. For the Selfie Shooter the E9 boasts the 4MP Ultrapixel Camera we know from the M8 and M9. As its siblings, the device therefore will run on Android Lollipop with HTC’s Sense UI. Its measurement is 156.5 × 76.5 × 7.54mm which is a pretty bigger and thicker than the new HTC One M9. The phone will be powered by 2800 mAh.

From the pictures on TENAA Certification, the E9 still takes the major inspiration from HTC’s style patterns. However, the metal of the One M8 and M9 series is replaced by poly-carbonate though. In the white version the phone comes with golden borders, but will be available in Black as well.

In addition to, actually HTC is already sending out invitations for the HTC ONE E9 Release Event in China from 11-17th March. In the event, we hope to see the larger mysterious HTC One M9 Plus and probably new version of HTC’s Sense UI. Some sources said that the phone will be sold at 320 USD in China which would definitely be a very good price for such a high speced phone.
