Coming in October 2016 and April 2017, the Huawei Honor 6X and Huawei Honor 8 Pro phones have gained a lot of love from users. Now, Huawei Company has decided to let this Huawei Honor series get updates, including the latest Android O, along with 6GB RAM and more.

After the Android O‘s debut early this September, Huawei Company has followed Sony and Nokia in giving the OS updates to its products. After a meeting in Delhi, Huawei Honor 6X and Huawei Honor 8 Pro phones are two mentioned names to get the software improvement. That means different phoning experience is coming, including new Google features like autofill, picture-in-picture, smart text selection, etc. Not to stop there, these Huawei handsets also with amazing specs. Separately, the Huawei Honor 8 Pro specs come with a 5.7-inch LTPS IPS LCD. Meanwhile, the Huawei Honor 6X device obtains a 5.5-inch screen, also LTPS IPS LCD. However, the Huawei Honor 6X brand offers two variants: 64GB ROM with 3GB RAM, and 64GB ROM with 4GB RAM. But the Huawei Honor 6X phone only has 64GB ROM, but with 4/6GB RAM. Both of them have the microSD slots for up to 256GB more. Thus, these two phones in the Huawei Honor series have the same standard connectivity options: Wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB, NFC, NFC, and 4G.

About the photography tools, Huawei Honor 8 Pro camera carries a Dual 12MP rear shooter and an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. In the Huawei Honor 6X camera case, it sports a Dual 12MP + 2MP primary and an 8MP secondary as well. Regarding the energy stations, Huawei Honor 8 Pro battery draws a Li-Po non-removable 4000mAh. Thus, Huawei Honor 6X cell is a 3340mAh.
