Huawei Mate 30 specs

Previously, we have reported on the arrival of the successors of Huawei P series: P30 and P30 Pro. Today, we finally get the first glimpse of the third generation handset in the Huawei Mate series under the name Mate 30. According to our source, the new Mate 30 has a high chance of becoming the first smartphone to feature the Kirin 985 chipset. In details, this processor built with an Extreme UltraViolet (EUV) process. Furthermore, it will be produced at the TSMC foundries.

Based on the listing, the Kirin 985 still remains a 7nm chipset. However, the new EUV enhancement is going to allow for 20% greater transistor density. As a result, the hardware can be marketed at 7+ nm. Furthermore, the benefits of the EUV will become more pronounced as nodes get smaller (e.g. 5nm). Additionally, the Kirin chipset specs also include the increased clock speeds for higher performance. Furthermore, it can also come with a 5G modem built in.

As for other Huawei P30 specs, here are what reportedly in the listing! Firstly, the new Huawei flagship is going to sport a dual displays system. In details, it packs another screen on the back that takes around half the surface. While the main display is a 6.7-inch OLED, the extra one can be around 3-inch tall. Furthermore, the Huawei phone reportedly features 256 GB, 8 GB RAM (expandable to 256GB). The Huawei Mate 30 camera system should include a triple 48MP rear snappers and another 24MP front lens. It can also run on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system and offers a decent 4400mAh battery box.
