According to the media, the Chinese giant Huawei has introduced its foldable smartphone, Huawei’s Mate X to the public last weekend. In details, the new flagship comes with 5G connectivity, based on their Baolong 5000 modem. More notably, the Huawei phone features the impressive 55W SuperCharge support system. As a result, the handset becomes the fastest charging smartphone that can top up 85% of the battery in 30 minutes.

Regarding Huawei Mate X specs, the device comes with the thinnest folding mechanism (11mm-5.4mm) display in the market. In tablet mode, the handset sports an 8” AMOLED screen with 2480 x 2200 pixels. Meanwhile, the main part reduces to 6.6” with 2480 x 1148 pixels and a ratio of 19:5:9 when being folded. Meanwhile, the other side plays the role of a secondary screen, which is similar to the Nubia X and NEX Dual Display.

As a result, there are both a display and a camera on the same side. On the other hand, Huawei claims its optics as the “best in class selfies,”. At the moment, we are not sure which class the Mate X is in. According to the proper photos, the primary screen has some bezels, but not extraordinary. Meanwhile, Huawei confirmed the Huawei Mate X camera arrives with four Leica sensors of 40MP (f/1.8) + 16MP ultra-wide (f/2.2) + 8MP tele (f/2.4) + TOF. Unfortunately, there seems no selfie shooter appear on this flagship, unfortunately. For the hardware system, the device ships with HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset, alongside 8GB+512GB (expandable). Also, Huawei beast sets up with a 4,500 mAh cell and Android 9.0 (Pie) based on EMUI 9.1 system.

According to the company’s announcement, Huawei Mate X price can carry the tag of €2,299 (that’s about $2,600) with only one color – Interstellar Blue.
