Huawei P20 Pro review hands-on

Firstly, the Huawei P20 Pro is keeping its cool and fantastic design with a lot of improvements to show off. According to our sources, it is a worthy upgrade in general. However, we would like to focus on what’s new in our review today. Concerning the design, the new dual-glass design has reinforced with a metal frame. However, Huawei did a good job giving it a unique look with the new Twilight colour.

The Huawei P20 Pro is not much bigger than the regular model and maintains the 1080p resolution. However, its 6.1″ notched panel is of the OLED variety. Besides, 0.3″ difference in screen size doesn’t make the Pro a whole larger due to the very tall 18.7:9 displays here. Meanwhile, the front is pretty much identical to the P20with the same impressive 24MP selfie shooter and a small circular earpiece. Also, there would be doubling as a speaker.

The front-mounted fingerprint scanner stays on the Huawei P20 Pro with the dual-glass design and curvy corners and edges. Meanwhile, the triple camera premieres on the Huawei P20 Pro’s include 20MP monochrome snapper with f/1.6 bright lens. Further, there is a significant 1/1.7″ 40MP colour sensor (f/1.8) and an 8MP telephoto snapper (f/2.4). Also, the Pro also packs a massive 4,000 mAh battery, a capacity more significant than most flagships these days. Moreover, the better IP67 dust and water protection than the P20.
