Previously, they had unveiled Huawei Mate Xs, a foldable smartphone that is the successor to the Huawei Mate X. Now, according to our legit source, the big Chinese brand is going to launch the new P40 smartphone series soon. Furthermore, the new family should include three news handsets: Huawei P40, P40 Pro and perhaps P40 Lite. Today, let’s shine the spotlight on the basic model of the family.

Regarding the display, Huawei P40 specs flaunt a 6.57-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1080×2440 pixels. On the other side, the Huawei handset is going to run Android 10.0 as the operating system. Furthermore, hardware-wise, the Huawei flagship takes power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset as the processor. In terms of the memory, the Huawei device sports 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

It consists of a 52MP main camera, a 40MP cine shooter and an 8MP telephoto module. Moreover, it offers a 3x optical zoom periscope with the same three other cameras as the Pro model. Talking about the juice box, the Huawei machine bears a massive 5500mAh battery that supports fast charging. Connectivity options on the Huawei flagship include Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C. Besides, it has a fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock.
