Nokia 8 speed test against iPhone X: a total win?

Previously, Nokia 8 won against both iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S8+ in speed tests conducted by various YouTube technology channels. Once again joining another speed test, how does Nokia’s affordable flagship – Nokia 8 perform against the pricey $1000 iPhone X? One YouTube channel has already compared real-life performance between Nokia 8 and iPhone X in its speed test video.

And the result? Nokia 8 with its Pure Android operating system dominate iPhone X in this real-life speed test. From what we can observe through the test, for basics application such as messaging or camera, Nokia 8 opens them slightly faster than Apple iPhone X. But for other applications such as Google Play Store/Apple App Store or Internet website, Nokia 8 undoubtedly runs faster. On the other hand, the YouTube reviewer has also showcased in their video how the iPhone X’s benchmarking results don’t matter much when it comes to the real-life performance. Notedly, Apple’s flagship iPhone X is currently facing lots of criticism because of its fragile body and failure of Face ID or display screen “green line of death” problem.
