LG G4 boasts 5.5” QHD IPS LCD display, 538 ppi and other advancements

Upcoming LG G4 will come at the end of the month, on April 28th with QHD LCD display along with much improvements than its siblings.

The phone still remains unchanged 5.5″ IPS LCD Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels combined with a density of 538 ppi. However, according to LG, apart from the similar display, the successor of LG G3 is a “quantum jump in terms of key features, including color gamut, brightness, contrast ratio, touch function, power consumption and thinness.”

More specially, the new one will add some advantages thanks to three important features: high color gamut LED, dvanced In-Cell Touch (AIT) as well as photo-alignment.

The first feature makes LG G4 features a huge plus than other LG devices is high color gamut. It will help its display reports 120% of the sRGB gamut, which in layman’s term meaningly able to render more color options in comparison with other handsets. Another advancement of next LG G4 compared to other QHD LCD handset is that the phone will report 50 percent higher contrast ratios and 30 percent higher brightness but the power consumption still remains.

Additionally, while LG didn’t press the exact LG G4 in their press release, but with the phrase “LG’s forthcoming flagship smartphone to be unveiled at the end of the month.”, we’re pretty sure that the phone is the highlight of the event.
