After the launch of LG G7, many fans are now looking forward to seeing what this Korean manufacturer can bring in 2019. Today, a Korean newspaper released LG’s launch plan for the upcoming year. In details, the company is going to launch the next successor of the LG G7 dubbed LG G8 for various markets in the first quarter of 2019. Here’s what we can expect to see on this flagship.

In terms of the design, the new LG flagship is going to arrive with a bezel-less screen and thin metal frames. Moreover, the new LG phone chooses to drop the notch for a full display feel. On the other hand, the new LG G8 Infinity camera system includes a unique dual system of 41MP + 25MP rear snappers. (12X Zoom, 2160p@30fps). Meanwhile, there is a dual 20MP + 8MP secondary lenses system on the front.

Additionally, the LG flagship also equips that latest Face ID Scanner technology. Regarding the LG G8 specs, the LG phone comes with a 6.0-inch AMOLED screen (4K resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels). There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, the LG flagship comes running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. As for the storage, there are 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/512GB ROM. For now, there is no mention of a microSD card. Regarding the battery box, the LG G8 Infinity rocks a non-removable 4500mAh juice box and Quick Charge support. Additionally, the LG phone also comes with IP68 certificate – Dust/Water Proof. In terms of the operating system, the LG device is going to run on the new Android P version.
