LG Q8 2018 goes official with 6.2” screen, 16MP camera and stylus pen!

Last May, LG has announced the launch of their trio LG Q7 devices. Notably, they are mostly known as the affordable alternative of the G7 ThinQ. Today, the Korean manufacturer unveils a brand new handset under the name LG Q8 2018. Moreover, the LG handset is also a cheaper model of the previously announced LG V35 ThinQ. Regarding the hardware, the LG Q8 now comes with a massive 6.2” FullVision display and comes bundled with a built-in stylus.

On the other hand, the LG Q8 2018 specs also include the 14 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chip and octa-core CPU at 1.8 GHz. Regarding the storage, the LG device offers 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM. There is also a microSD card which can expand up to 2 TB. However, the LG Q8 2018 camera system only includes a single regular sensor on the back – 16MP with PDAF, coupled with an LED flash. On the front, the LG phone has another 5MP selfie camera lens.

Additionally, this sensor has a Super Wide Angle of 100 degrees so you can include all your friends in the selfies. On the other hand, the LG Q8 connectivities include USB-C, Bluetooth, and all the modern Wi-Fi 802.11 standards. Additionally, there is also the 3.5 mm audio jack on board. Furthermore, the LG phone comes with DTS:X 3D Surround Sound and Hi-Fi Quad DAC for all the audiophiles out there. Besides, the new LG Q8 is also IP68 and MIL-STD 810G compliant. Lastly, the LG handset is 160.1 x 77.7 x 8.4 mm in size and has a QC 3.0-compatible battery with 3300mAh capacity. Besides, LG Q8 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.

LG Q8 2018 release date and price

LG Director of the mobile division Ahn Byung-Deok shared that the new LGQ8 phone “will become a new choice for domestic mid-sized smartphones”. Moreover, the LG Q8 2018 is available in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue. Lastly, LG Q8 2018 price tag is KRW. 539,000 which is around $480.
