After the arrival of the LG G7 handset, many LG fans have been waiting for the news about the LG V30’s successor. Today, LG has finally dropped the teaser about the launch of the latest member of their V series: LG V40 ThinQ! Previously, we came across many reports about this LG phone with the model number V405UA. Furthermore, the LG flagship already received the GCF, and FCC certification a few days ago. Now, let’s see what LG V40 ThinQ specs pack!

Firstly, the LG V40 ThinQ is going to be the first LG phone to come with a triple-camera system. In details, the LG V40 ThinQ camera setup includes three sensors on the back: a primary sensor of 12MP, secondary of 16MP, and the third one of 12-megapixel. This new setup features the PDAF, OIS, HDR, and 4K video recording. Meanwhile, there is a dual 8MP + 5MP lenses on the front. Moreover, the LG smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor at the rear.

As for the display, the LG V40 ThinQ now comes with a 6.4-inch P-OLED screen with QHD+ screen and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, this LG phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB RAM. There is also the storage of 128GB with a microSD card (expandable up to 256GB). On the software side, we can expect the smartphone to initially boot Android 9 Pie-based LG UX out of the box. Notably, the LG device is IP68 water and dust resistant certified, and it can have Quad-DAC configurations. Lastly, the V40 ThinQ equip a 3300mAh battery box. Connectivity-wise, the phone should ship with dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS+GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio port.
