Meizu is going to celebrate their 15th anniversary next year with a special edition handset: Meizu 15 Plus. Besides tri-bezel-less design and 6GB RAM, what else does this flagship feature? Take a look below!

Meizu 15: 6GB RAM, Dual camera!

Previously, we have introduced to you about the Meizu Note 8. Today, we’re bringing you another handset from this brand: Meizu 15. Revealed by Meizu’s CEO Jack Wong, Meizu 15 will be coming with two version: Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus. Regarding the display, Meizu 15 specs feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. On the other hand, Meizu 15 Plus specs sport a large 6-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Both displays have the resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 16:9 ratio.

Under the hood, both Meizu handsets are going to run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. For Meizu 15, it’s going to offer 4GB/6GB RAM with two ROM versions: 64GB or 128GB. Regarding the Meizu 15 Plus, this handset comes with 6GB RAM and 256GB RAM (no additional card slot). Furthermore, both Meizu flagships have Android 8.0 Oreo as the operating system. In term of the juice box, Meizu 15 will likely have a non-removable Li-Ion 3500mAh battery. Meanwhile, Meizu 15 Plus comes with a more substantial 3800mAh juice box.

For now, there is no official information about the camera. However, here are what we can observe from the leaked image. On the front, there is likely going to be a single selfie snapper. We suspect it could be a 16 MP (f/2.0) lens. Moreover, there is a dual camera set up on the back, positioned vertically. Additionally, we can see a flash and laser focus under the sensors.

Meizu 15 Plus release date and price

As mentioned above, both Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus available falls around the Spring next year, probably March. For the cost, Meizu 15 price is $453 (~¥ 2,999/Rs, 29,152).
