In the past days, we got some details about the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset aka Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 Soc. Additionally, Huang Zhang has said that the company is planning to introduce a new device named Meizu 16s. This phone could be the next generation of the Meizu 16^th instead of the Meizu 17. Besides that, this device might feature a similar design to the predecessor.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 aka Snapdragon 8150 chipset comes with three-clusters GPU, and the core cluster is designed similar to the flagship Hisilicon Kirin 980 chipset and Exynos 9820 processor. According to the previous report, this chipset can be built using a 7nm process, with a chip size of 12.4nm x 12.4nm. In addition, it ships with the Snapdragon X24 4G LTE based (2GBps) modem.

Speaking of the display, the Meizu 16s specs feature a 6.21-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Meanwhile, in terms of the storage, the Meizu 16s flagship might sport 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB ROM (no card slot). Under the hood, this phone packs a non-removable 3200mAh power cell and wireless charging. Regarding the operating system, this phone works on Android 9.0 Pie. Imaging-wise, the Meizu 16s flagship camera rocks a dual 12MP + 20MP camera module on the rear. Meanwhile, there is a single 20MP selfie lens.
