The last two apps won’t be counted for Android, as most phones come with these preinstalled. As for iOS rival, Instagram has become the king of the Android community, hitting over 38M downloads. The rest of the ranking are Facebook, TikTok, then WhatsApp, and Snapchat. It’s no surprise to see Facebook coming in second with 34M.

If we combine the two platforms’ numbers, Instagram is the ultimate winner, with over 50M. Furthermore, TikTok is getting second place with 47M, despite being a lot younger. Facebook finishes third with 41M. There is WhatsApp at number four (34M), and CapCut ends the list at 28M. Other big apps that make the list are Telegram, Messenger, and music streaming Spotify. Another highlight from the ranking is that Twitter failed to make it to the list.
