New Meitu flagship arrives with the triple-lens front camera, 8GB RAM!

In 2018, many smartphone manufacturers have introduced their handsets with triple or even quad rear cameras. To name a few, we have the first ever device which kicked start the trend: Huawei P20 Pro. Moreover, the Chinese brand also applied the same system to their Honor Magic 2 and Mate 20 Pro flagships. Recently, Samsung even announced the launch of their first four rear cameras phone Galaxy A9. But how about triple-lens selfie camera setup?

Today, Meitu gives us the answer to this question! Based on the latest report, a new handset dubbed Meitu MP1801 visits the TENAA website today with a big twist: a triple-lens selfie camera! Regarding the design, this new Meitu flagship sports a V-shape and the different materials smack of Vertu phone. Furthermore, the hardware of this handset comes from Xiaomi, while Meitu is in charge of the camera software. Now, let’s see what this handset can pack.

Regarding the specification, the Meitu flagship packs a 6.21” OLED display with 1080p+ resolution. Meanwhile, the handset also comes running on a 6-core processor, probably the new Snapdragon 8150 or 845 chipset. On the other hand, the smartphone also comes running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system. As for the storage, the Meitu phone can offer up to 8GB RAM and two ROM options of 28GB or 256GB. For now, there is no mention of a microSD card. As mention above, the Meitu flagship camera equips a triple 12+20+8 MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, there is a dual rear snapper on the back panel.
