To recap, at the last MWC event in 2018, the Finnish giant has announced the Nokia 5 smartphone in the mid-range segment. By then, Nokia 5 2017 has been highly successful with a sleek and slim design and excellent performance. Recently, Juho Sarvikas – Chief Product Officer of HMD Global – while answering a question on Twitter, hinted that the upgraded version of Nokia 5 might come soon to the users.

Although the tweet though doesn’t give away much information, it surely does confirm that the company is working on creating such device. On a side note, the company is also reportedly working towards bringing the Nokia X line to a new level. Besides, Sarvikas fails to mention any specific details about the Nokia 5 2018 like what upgrades can we expect or when the smartphone will arrive. In the meantime, we have made some guesses and speculations about it.

Regarding Nokia 5 2018 specs, the device offers a 5.2-inch HD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio. Besides, the handset display packs HD resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, Nokia handset sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 CPU and Adreno 505 GPU inside, alongside 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM (expand to 128GB). Notably, Nokia 5 2018 camera packs a dual 13MP, instead of a single sensor as 2017 version and a 10MP selfie snapper. Also, there is a 3300mAh energy box, Android Oreo 8.0 and HiFi audio support along with the device.
