Nokia 5 Plus specs

Nokia 5 has been a successful model of Nokia Android smartphone lines released earlier this year. Therefore, HMD Global is planning to launch the new Nokia 5 next year under the model number TA-1041. According to Geekbench list, the new Nokia 5 Plus owns a same 5.2” IPS LCD screen size with improved Full HD resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Also, Nokia 5 Plus expects to have Corning Gorilla Glass protection for the screen, but the version remains a mystery.

On the other hand, Nokia 5 Plus specs include an octa-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. Meanwhile, Nokia 5 Plus storage comes at 4GB RAM and another 64GB of internal flash memory, which is far bigger than 16GB ROM of Nokia 5. Moreover, Nokia 5 Plus internal storage is expandable to 256GB via microSD card. Besides, Nokia 5 Plus packs the improved battery of 3200mAh, slightly bigger in compared to 3000mAh battery of Nokia 5.

For the cameras, Nokia 5 Plus has upgraded the primary camera to 16MP with an aperture of f/1.8. However, it seems odd when Nokia 5 Plus has lower 5MP for the front-facing camera at an aperture of f/2.0. Besides, Nokia 5 Plus camera features still include Auto Focus, HDR mode, and dual-color LED Flash. According to Geekbench, Nokia 5 Plus runs on Android Nougat 7.1 out-of-the-box, but it seems to be upgradable to Android Oreo 8.0 soon.
