Without a doubt, the gaming smartphone market is currently one of the hottest fields that many companies want to jump in. Last 2017, Razer took the first step into this market with their gaming device Razer Phone. Not long after, ASUS was quick to announce their own gaming device dubbed ROG Phone. This year, many Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Huawei and even ZTE are joining the competition with their devices.

Based on the latest update, it seems like Nokia is going to be the next brand to take part in the battle. Today, Nokia Indian division drops a mysterious teaser on their social media channels. According to it, the Finnish manufacturer is planning to introduce a phone specifically tailored for gaming users. Moreover, the 10-second clip shows off some gaming scenes and an outline of a smartphone with three lights behind it.

On the other hand, the teaser also states to stay tuned for a phone we can #GameOn. To aim at the gaming market, HMD Global is going to need to equip this device with some advanced technology. Under the hood, we can expect it to take power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. As for the storage, the Nokia gaming phone can offer 6GB or even 8GB RAM with decent 64/128GB ROM. From what we have seen from other Nokia Android devices, a microSD is a must on this phone. Lastly, the new Nokia gaming phone reportedly arrives with the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system!
