Nokia Pixel release: A new budget Android smartphone coming in 2018!

Recently, we have spotted on the Capital Markets Day presentation, and Nokia CEO – Rajeev Suri’s MWC 2017 keynote about the Nokia Pixel. Nokia Pixel is going to feature entry-level specs with an affordable price, similar to Nokia 2. Here are all the revealed specifications that this Nokia smartphone offer. For the display, Nokia Pixel specs feature a 5.5-inch screen that has the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Regarding the powerhouse, this device comes with a Snapdragon 200 chipset, 2-cores CPU.

In terms of memory and internal storage, the smartphone of Nokia offers 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. No mention yet about an extendable microSD for ROM. For photography, this smartphone comes with a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP shooter for the selfie. For the operating system, this Nokia handset runs on Android 7.0.1 Nougat. We have no official data on the battery, but we can expect it to be around 4000mAh and supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

On the other hand, there is also another handset reveal together with Pixel handset – Nokia D1C. From the information, this Nokia handset has the design of a candy bar shape dipped in gold, white and black color options. Additionally, the gold edition seems to have a dedicated home button. Due to this factor, we suspect the gold edition is going to come with a fingerprint scanner. We will keep you update more on this specific handset once more information is out!

According to our sources, Nokia is likely going to release the Nokia Pixel next January 2018.
