Oppa has been well-known for the selfie-centric smartphone like the Oppo F3, the Oppo F3 Plus… Now, the company will concrete its reputation more with a new selfie beast, the F5. To make way for the upcoming launch, the Chinese manufacturer has been teasing about the design and some features of the phone. According to the images, the Oppo F5 will have a metallic body with minimal display bezels. Moreover, there are four color choices available at the moment including: Black, Red, Gold and Rose Gold.

Let’s move on to the Oppo F5 specs. The smartphone features a big 6-inch 18:9 display. Moreover, the device packs 6GB RAM, making the phone one of the strongest devices from the company. Pairing with the 6GB RAM is the Snapdragon 660 chipset along with 64GB of internal storage. At the moment, there’s no information if we can expand the memory via a microSD card, however, we expect the ROM is expandable just like other Oppo smartphones. Additionally, the device receives power from a decent 4000 mAh.

Speaking of the photography department, this must be the phone’s highlight point. The Oppo F5 camera consists of a single 20MP rear camera. Moreover, as a selfie beast, the handset features an impressive dual 16MP front-facing camera. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. For the OS, we expect the device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat which is upgradable to Android Oreo.

Oppo F5 release date and price

The Oppo F5 release date is on October 26 in the Philippines. We expect the company will soon launch the device on other markets like India. There’s no official number for the Oppo F5 price. However, we expect it is going to be around Rs. 27500 (about $422). Stay tuned for more updates from us.
