Oppo F7 launch in India

The Oppo R15 and R15s have been a somewhat constant presence during the past few weeks. According to Oppo India Twitter, the latest official teaser brings an exciting twist to the company’s upcoming lineup, Oppo F7. This is the first time we hear anything substantial about the device. Looking at the poster, the next “Selfie Expert” seems quite identical in design to the R15.

The promotional image showcases the design and the brand’s new local ambassador as well – likely the cricketer Hardik Pandya. Besides, the leak indicates that the handset might take power from a MediaTek chipset. In details, the device is likely to run MediaTek Helio P60, while Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 variant is also available. The image also shows that the Selfie Expert will likely sport a notch above the display, consisting of the selfie shooter and earpiece.

Oppo F7 specs feature a 6.2-inch FullHD+ display (2160×1080 pixels) with the aspect ratio of 19:9 and screen to body ratio of 89.09%. The F7 handset works on Color OS 4.0, based on Android Oreo 8.1, alongside 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM (expandable to 256GB). Also, OPPO F7 camera packs dual sensors 16MP+5MP and a whopping 25MP selfie snapper. The selfie camera packs AI features, AR stickers, better real-time HDR and beauty mode. Besides, the battery box might come with 3500mAh capacity.

The report claims that the OPPO F7 is ready to launch in India between March 28th and March 30th, which is available in red colour option.
