As mentioned above, Oppo has sent out invites for an event on August 21 in India. According to the recent teasers, there appears the Oppo F9 Pro launched on that date. Previously, the Oppo F9 Pro seems to launch in Vietnam first on August 15th, alongside the Oppo F9. Whereas, Oppo F9 Pro teasers are rolling out regularly in India featuring with VOOC flash charge. Besides, the latest statement to the media revealed the three gradient colour options.

For the design, the Oppo F9 Pro has a waterdrop-like display notch and a polished gradient back. On the other side, the fingerprint sensor sits at the back, and the dual camera setup is horizontally organised. Also, the power button is on the right edge, while the volume buttons sit on the left. Other features include a speaker grille, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Also, the phone supports dual-SIM slots (Nano + Nano) and run on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Regarding OPPO F9 Pro specs, the smartphone sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Besides, the flagship gets power from the 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core (4 2GHz Cortex-A73 cores + 4 2GHz Cortex-A53 cores) processor. The graphics come with ARM Mali-G2 MP3 GPU, alongside 6GB RAM (India) and 128GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB). Moreover, Oppo F9 Pro camera includes a dual 16MP (f/1.85) +2MP rear primary camera with LED flash. Furthermore, there is a 25MP selfie camera (f/1.0) with AI features. Oppo F9 Pro packs a 3500mAh battery with VOOC flash charging.
