OPPO R15 official images unveil the design and specs!

After the OPPO R11 handsets, this Chinese brand has decided to skip the usual 12 or 13, by jumping to the 15! In details, they are going to unveil not one, but two variants of their R15 generation. We are going to have OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Plus (or OPPO R15 Dream Edition). Based on the latest OPPO R15 official image, we can see that they are going to arrive with an iPhone X’s iconic notch. Moreover, they also sport a similar screen cut-out of the Asus series.

On the other hand, OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Dream are going to equip a dual rear camera setup. Additionally, there is also a dual-tone LED flash and a rear-facing fingerprint reader. In terms of the display, OPPO R15 specs include a 6.28-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (1080 x 2280 pixels resolution). OPPO R15 Plus specs offer a bigger screen of 6.43-inch and similar resolution. Notably, both OPPO R15 flagships take power from a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset with a 2.0GHz octa-core CPU.

Moreover, they run on Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system. Talking about the storage, OPPO R15 ad R15 Plus arrive with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB). As for the photography system, OPPO R15 camera includes a dual 16 MP (f/1.7, 1/2.8″, 1.12 µm, PDAF) + 5 MP rear snapper. There is also phase detection autofocus with LED flash as mentioned above. On the other hand, the OPPO flagship also equips a 20 MP (f/2.0, 1080p) selfie shooter. As for the battery box, OPPO R15 has a non-removable Li-Po 3360mAh capacity. Lastly, OPPO R15 official images reveal that they are going to have different colour options: Dream Mirror Red, Hot Red, Snow White and Star Purple.

OPPO R15 release date and price

Based on the recent report, OPPO is going to launch these two OPPO R15 handsets in China this March. As for the cost, OPPO R15 price is $600 ~ Rs. 39, 031. Besides, the OPPO R15 Plus price falls around $615 ~ Rs. 40, 007.
