OPPO R15 processor – MediaTek’s Helio P60 chipset!

After announcing the R11s back in November 2017, OPPO is preparing for a new flagship. As number 13 is a negative omen in some countries, the company decided to skip OPPO R13 and release OPPO R15. According to the teaser leaking from Weibo recently, the Oppo R15 will arrive with MediaTek’s Helio P60 chipset. In details, it will process on CPU with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2 GHz and four A53 cores also at 2 GHz. Moreover, this OPPO R15 phone offers two storage options: 128 GB, 6 GB RAM or 64 GB, 4 GB RAM.

Apart from the MediaTek’s chipset, OPPO R15 specs spot a 5.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Design-wise, it is leaked with bezel-less sides and extremely tiny chin. After Essential, Sharp, who introduced the screen design with a notch, and Apple, who popularized it, Oppo will be the next company to implement this unusual design. This rumour owner will arrive with a notch at the top of its display.

 

In terms of operation, OPPO R15 is going to process on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. Regarding the photography system, OPPO R15 goes with a dual 16 MP + 20MP primary snapper. Moreover, it also has a 20 MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter. It will most likely arrive with latest Snapdragon 700-series with AI platform, recently introduced by Qualcomm.

OPPO R15 release date and price
