Back in May, the Chinese mobile manufacturer OPPO announced its new sub-brand, Realme in the Indian market. Recently, they have launched its second generation of this series, dubbed as OPPO Realme 2. As for the design, OPPO Realme 2 still retains the design elements from the Realme 1. On the back, there is a dual camera set up. Meanwhile, this phone comes with a newer notched display on the front.
This phone comes in two variants of 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). Besides, OPPO Realme 2 takes power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset which should offer a slightly better performance compared to the previous OPPO Realme 1. In addition, OPPO Realme 2 battery draws a bigger 4230mAh juice box than the 3410mAh battery box on the Realme 1.
One of the highlights of this device is the dual rear camera set up. As for the optics system, OPPO Realme 2 camera packs a dual 13MP (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) snapper on the back and an 8MP selfie lens (f/2.2). Besides, there is a fingerprint sensor that was missing on the sibling, OPPO Realme 1. Besides, concerning the operating system, OPPO Realme 2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS skin on top. How about the display? OPPO Realme 2 specs feature a 6.2-inch (720 x 1520 pixels). Moreover, this phone sports a tall 19:9 ratio and boasts the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
