Oppo Reno Z goes official

Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has announced the launch of a new mid-range OPPO smartphone dubbed the OPPO Reno Z. The announcement comes weeks after it launched the existing OPPO Reno trio. Also, regarding the design, the Reno Z is similar to the other Reno-series. However, the new phone comes with a water drop notch and a pop-up 32MP selfie lens. Moreover, the Oppo phone hits the market in Ocean Green as well as Jet Black colors.

For more details of this phone, the Oppo Reno Z specs feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels). Besides, the aspect ratio is at 19:5:9. In the other side, powering the new Oppo phone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, along with MediaTek Helio P90 octa-core processor. Additionally, the Reno Z possesses 6GB of RAM and 128GB ROM for the internal storage. Also, the new phone takes Android 9.0 Pie as the operating system.

Furthermore, regarding the Oppo Reno Z camera system, there is a twin camera setup which consists of a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, on the front, there is a pop-up 32MP selfie lens. Also, keeping the light on is a 3,950mAh non-removable battery and 20W (5V/4A) VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. Last but not least, the phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner. For the connection, there are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.

Oppo Reno Z release date and price

The new mid-range of Oppo has hit the EU market on May 26. As for the cost, the Oppo Reno Z price starts at $215 ~ Rs. 14,936.
