The Chinese brand is now launching the phone in overseas markets under a new name – POCO F7 Pro. The device appeared on the company website in South Africa with the same design, marketing visuals, and even the dedicated X Button for quick app access. In the meantime, the Vivo Y19s was unveiled in India on Monday, January 29.
Now, let’s start the battle! Concerning the display, the POCO F7 Pro specs bring a 6.75-inch TFT LCD with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. By the way, it sports about 84.1% screen-to-body ratio. On the other hand, the Vivo Y19s specs flaunt a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Hence, the POCO F7 Pro takes the lead with a better display.
Under the hood, the POCO phone employs the Kirin 710A chipset. Moreover, the phone runs HarmonyOS 4 in China, but the global version will likely switch to EMUI. Conversely, the Vivo handset runs on Android 14-based Vivo UI 5.0 custom skin. Also, it works on the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 SoC. Regarding memory, the POCO device offers 128GB/8GB RAM (up to 256GB via SIM slot). In contrast, the Vivo gadget comes with 16GB RAM and 1TB ROM (no card slot). Therefore, the Vivo phone wins this round with a larger storage capacity. Optic-wise, the POCO F7 Pro camera sports a dual camera setup. It comprises a 50MP main cam at the back alongside a 2MP auxiliary shooter. Besides, there is an 8MP front lens for selfies. On the contrary, the Vivo Y19s cameras feature a dual-sensor setup. It consists of 50MP primary lens + 2MP marcro sensor. Around the front is a 16MP selfie shooter. For battery, the nova Y72 features a 6000 mAh battery supporting 22.5W wired charging. Contrariwise, the Vivo handset packs a smaller 5000mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging.
