Rainbow Six is a very established franchise. However, the story of Rainbow Six Siege is an interesting one: the prototype of the game was deemed unsuitable. That would mean that this game would have not existed. However, the prototype was revised, changes were made, and we finally got the Rainbow Six Siege today. The story of this game is one of those games that came back from the dead stronger than ever. We cannot simply rule out anything until it happens.

With that backstory, this game achieved tremendous success upon release. Recently, Ubisoft has confirmed that support for the game will be carried out for another full year. That means there will be new content and updates regularly. This is very impressive, considering that this game has already got three full expansions: Operation Black Ice, Operation Skull Rain, and Operation Dust Line. There will also be Operation Red Crow coming soon!

The game has received tremendous success, and thus made the franchise look better. In a recent earnings announcement, Ubisoft shared that Rainbow Six Siege, The Division, and The Crew have more than million registered players each. After the Skull Rain expansion pack, Siege has recorded an increase of 40% in its active daily users. This game once again proves itself as one of the main franchise of Ubisoft, along with Assassin’s Creed. The success does not seem to stop anytime soon!
