Up until now, the Realme GT lineup has always been a popular choice for many mobile users. Thanks to its massive battery and storage, it can perform well for an all-day gaming experience. The Chinese brand launched the Realme GT 7 Pro last year, and the standard GT 7 just months ago. This time, they are planning to unveil two smartphones at the same time. Under the hood, both handsets are reportedly running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. With this upgrade, users should expect to see better performance and power efficiency. Furthermore, the Realme GT 8 Pro is getting a 6.85-inch 2K OLED display. As this design is supplied by Samsung, it arrives with an AR anti-glare coating feature, which we have seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. On the other hand, the Realme GT 8 specs could spot the same screen size and resolution.
Regarding the battery, the Pro model is also getting a large 7000mAh juice box with 100W fast charging. For the vanilla GT 8, we are looking at a larger number of 7500mAh. Both smartphones are going to have a beautiful metal frame design and a brand new 200MP periscope telephoto lens. For the Realme GT 8 Pro camera, it should sport triple 200MP + 50MP + 8MP rear snappers, similar to the GT 8. However, the Pro model is getting a 16MP selfie lens, while the Realme GT 8 camera has a 32MP lens. They are also getting the same Android 15 operating system. Last but not least, the storage options are a bit different. The Realme GT 8 offers 8/12/16GB RAM and 256/512GB ROM. Meanwhile, the Pro model can reach 1TB/16GB RAM. Similar to the GT 7 lineup, there won’t be any microSD card.
