Red Hydrogen One might ship this summer

Last year, the RED company announced that they would launch a smartphone with holographic features: Red Hydrogen One. It has been half a year after taking the pre-orders for the first smartphones, the company declared that Hydrogen One smartphone is still months away from being released. The smartphone is supposed to come into mass production and ship this summer.

According to Jim Jannard, the CEO of RED replied in a post that:”While there are still a few things to add, it does everything we need from a cell phone… plus display 4-view content. It is awesome. If we never sell one phone… I am totally happy. We both have exactly what we wanted.” RED stated that the Hydrogen One is “tad thicker”, and “solid”, we can expect the handset to be quite large and heavy. Let’s take a closer look at this smartphone.

As for Red Hydrogen One specs, this smartphone comes with a mix of metal and Kevlar, with a big dual-lens camera on the back. Furthermore, this RED smartphone offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835x processor (as what is currently in the Samsung Galaxy S8) and packs a massive 4,500 mAh battery box. Red Hydrogen One release date and price

There is no official information from RED about this smartphone. According to the media, the smartphone might come this summer. we expect this beast may come in April 2018.
