Just yesterday, Redmi’s sub-brand Xiaomi finally announced the launch of their Redmi Note 8. Notably, the new smartphone comes with decent specs and a killer price tag. First, let’s check out what it packs! Regarding the display, the Realme handset impressed us with 6.4 inches with the resolution of 1080 x 2340. Additionally, this Note 8 successor’s display is Water Drop Notch. Furthermore, it runs on the decently powerful Snapdragon 665.

Besides, it features a dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, IR, and Blaster. As for the storage, the Redmi phone comes in different versions 4GB/ 6GB RAM or 64GB/128GB of ROM (with microSD, up to 256 GB).  This handset will be available in a white-blue gradient color variant. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back. Meanwhile, the smartphone runs on a 4500 mAh battery with fast charging.

Imaging-wise, the quad cameras are arranged on the left side of the phone and not in the middle like that of the Pro version. This handset camera system includes a 48MP primary camera which will be paired with a super wide-angle camera, a depth of field camera, and a super macro camera. The fourth camera is not a ToF sensor. Moreover, there is a single 25MP camera on the front for selfie fans.
