Samsung Galaxy A8s with the Infinity-O display to launch soon!

Previously, Samsung has launched the two Galaxy A6s and Samsung Galaxy A9s in China last month. At the same event, the South Korean brand also teased about the arrival of the next member of the Galaxy A series dubbed Galaxy A8s smartphone. As per the teaser image, the upcoming Galaxy A8s is going to come with an edge-to-edge design, along with a hole in the display for the front-facing snapper. Today, some Galaxy A8s images surfaced online, unveiling an Infinity-O display.

Additionally, there is a “punch hole” cut-out at the top of this device. With the design, the Galaxy A8s could be the brand’s first device to pack the Infinity-O display with a high screen-to-body ratio. As for the measurement, the Samsung Galaxy A8s specs flaunt a large 6-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. Meanwhile, hardware-wise, the Galaxy A8s can take power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, similar to the Samsung Galaxy A6s and the Samsung Galaxy A9s.

However, if the Galaxy A8s launches at the beginning of 2019, there is a possibility of the South Korean company going with the Snapdragon 670 or Snapdragon 675 processor. On the other hand, this phone sports 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM of onboard storage (expandable up to 512GB). How about the optics system? The Samsung Galaxy A8s camera is expected to feature a triple-lens camera setup. In terms of the capacity, the Samsung phone rocks a non-removable Li-Ion 3400mAh power cell. This phone comes running on Android 8.0 Oreo.

The South Korean brand is yet to confirm the launch date. However, we can expect to see the Galaxy A8s at the end of this year or early next year.
