Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ go on pre-order in India today

The Indian Galaxy S8 variant will be backed up by the Samsung Exynos 8895 SoC, instead of the strong octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset. In terms of memory, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 is available in two versions: 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Both versions are expandable up to 256GB. Moreover, it features a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels, a 3,000mAh juice pack and runs on Android Nougat. As for optics, the Galaxy S8 cameras offer a 12MP+9MP Dual Pixel rear sensor and an 8MP front shooter.

Coming to its bigger sibling – Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Plus which comes with identical specs like Galaxy S8, only with a larger 6.2-inch screen, bigger battery capacity of 3500mAh. Moreover, the Galaxy S8 measures 148.9×68.1x8mm and weighs 155 grams and Galaxy S8+ measures 159.5×73.4×8.1mm and weighs 173 grams.
