Coco Gauff – the youngest tennis champion in 15 years

Gauff didn’t have the best start to his WTA tournament in Linz, Austria. But eventually, she took the lead and became the youngest person to do it in 15 years. Although she lost in qualifying rounds, the 15-year-old tennis phenomenon had another chance after a player was injured. Moreover, Gauff then made it to the final, where she defeated Jelena Ostapenko 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.

Brigid Kosgei just broke the world marathon record

As far as known, Kenya’s Brigid Kosgei crossed the finish line at the Chicago Marathon. Besides, she not only won the Chicago Marathon for the second year in a row, but she also broke the women’s world marathon record. On the contrary, Kosgei runs 26.2 miles in 2 hours, 14 minutes and 4 seconds. It is 81 seconds faster than the previous record, held by Paula Radcliffe for 16 years.
