Brigid Kosgei just broke the world marathon record

As far as known, Kenya’s Brigid Kosgei crossed the finish line at the Chicago Marathon. Besides, she not only won the Chicago Marathon for the second year in a row, but she also broke the women’s world marathon record. On the contrary, Kosgei runs 26.2 miles in 2 hours, 14 minutes and 4 seconds. It is 81 seconds faster than the previous record, held by Paula Radcliffe for 16 years.
