SMACH Z, a PSP-sized device that can run DotA 2!

In recent years, gaming on mobile devices have become very popular. However, gaming on PC still feels special, because we can enjoy great games at the highest quality. Many people have expressed their wish that they could have a portable device that can run games from PC smoothly. Well, they don’t have to wish anymore, because such a device is coming soon. Its name is SMACH Z, it is only as big as a PlayStation Portable (PSP), and it can run DotA 2 smoothly.

To be more precise, this device is still only on Kickstarter, waiting for funds. However, its supposed specs are very ideal for a portable device. It will have an AMD processor with latest technology. The chipset is Merlin Falcon RX-421BD with 2.1Hz clock speed. The graphics card will be Radeon R7 800MHz with 4GB RAM DDR4 2133 MHz. On the outside, apart from standard buttons usually seen in consoles’ gamepads, there will be two special areas called Z-Pads. These Z-Pads allow you to maneuver as if you are using a mouse, which will be convenient for PC gamers.

SMACH Z creators promises to support over 10,000 games from Steam library, and all of them are free! The battery life of the device is claimed to be 5 hours. This device will supposedly be able to run DotA 2, Team Fortress 2, Civilization V, The Witcher 2, etc. Users can also download and install non-Steam games, just like a regular PC. Web games and game emulators are also supported. This device can truly be called a portable PC!
